Dr. Scott Duston
Dr. Duston is a native Phoenician. He attended Arizona State University for his undergraduate studies. He went on to Washington State University to earn his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Dr. Duston practiced in the Phoenix Valley for five years in general and emergency hospitals. He completed his internship in Sacramento in 2007 in small animal medicine and surgery. Dr. Duston lived in California for six years and worked in the beach cities of Costa Mesa and Laguna Beach. In the summer of 2012, Dr. Duston returned home to Phoenix and became owner of Agua Fria Animal Hospital. Dr. Duston and his wife, Mandy, became parents only three days after taking over the practice. 2012 was a most exciting and rewarding year for the Dustons, and they look forward to building lasting relationships with clients for many years to come. Dr. Duston has a special interest in dermatology, internal medicine, geriatrics, and ultrasound.
Dr. Shannon Foster
Dr Shannon Marie Foster became part of the Agua Fria Animal Hospital Family May 2019. She was born in Birmingham Alabama, the second of three children.
The family always had pets during her childhood, which fostered and fueled her passion for animal welfare and serving the community. She attended Tuskegee University until 1998. After graduation she was accepted to Mississippi State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. After completing the Doctorate program, she practiced in her home state until 2004. At that time, she relocated to Phoenix Arizona and continued diligently to serve the community and advocate for the health of pets.
Dr. Brittany Schultz
Dr. Brittany Schultz was born and raised outside of Cleveland, Ohio. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology from The Ohio State University, where she went on to complete veterinary school. Go Bucks! She and her husband decided they’d had enough of Ohio’s gloomy winter weather and moved their family to sunny Arizona. She lives in Buckeye with her husband, 2 young daughters, 2 cats, named George & Bucky, and a pitbull mix, named Onyx. Dr. Schultz has interests in behavior, surgery, and dentistry, and promotes fear-free veterinary visits. She is excited to meet you and your pets!
